More Halloween & A Helicopter

A busy Halloween Week. We saw the scarecrows at the Botanical Gardens and heard a story from a good witch. We hosted Pumpkin Carving for the street at our house. There were some great pumpkins -- one of our best, but we were definitely not the most creative or professional looking. Then Mom and Dad got to go out for an adult party. Mom was Minnie. Dad won most original costume for his sushi tribute. And then Mom went on a helicopter ride over downtown Atlanta with Chris H. from GSU in the Lipstick/Lightening McQueen helicopter. Jack wants to go next time for sure.

The Rumor Was True

I know you all didn't believe it, but Grandma Barbara and Jack really did ride on a camel together at the Bronx Zoo. The picture isn't great (due to some technical difficulties, like not having a memory card in the camera) but as you can see, the two of them were having a grand time.

Labor Day Weekend

The "Monster Parade" (part of DragonCon 2008) was a big hit with Dad and Jack. The storm troopers we not too friendly -- when you waved at them, they pretended to shoot you, Yikes!

Dad liked the pirates best, Jack thought the candy, superman and spiderman were the highlights. It was hot and hard to take pictures with so much sun. Then we went to a festival in Grant Park and the boys try out new pjs and bibs from Grandma Barbara and Pap Pap Scott's trip to Maine.
